A pacifier can be a great source of comfort for your little one. It can also help satisfy the sucking reflex your child may have. Since the pacifier goes into their mouth, it is only hygienic to keep it clean. They are still young and their immune system is still vulnerable. Follow these simple steps to sterilize their pacifiers and keep them free of harmful bacteria:
1. Place the pacifiers in a clean bowl & pour enough boiling water over them to cover them completely.
2. Let the pacifiers soak for about 5 minutes until the water has cooled down.
3. Remove the pacifiers & let them dry on a clean towel.
4. Squeeze any excess water out of the nipple.
5. Once your baby is 3 months old, pacifiers can be sterilized by pouring boiling water over them.
